Grenada’s Prime Minister Tillman
Thomas has congratulated Dr.
Denzil Douglas, the Prime
Minister-elect of St.
Kitts-Nevis on his party’s
victory in Monday’s general
elections.
The
following is the full text of
the message.
“Dear Dr. Douglas,
I
wish, on behalf of the
government and people of
Grenada, to congratulate you and
the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour
Party, on its successful
re-election for a fourth
successive term in office.
I
look forward to continuing our
work to help the people of the
Orgainsation of Eastern
Caribbean States to realize
their dreams of unity among our
countries, as you so profoundly
outlined in your December 29th
address to colleagues at the
initialing of the new OECS
treaty of Basseterre.
I
hope we can work together to
help the sub-region emerge from
the effects of the global
economic crisis that has
affected all our economies.
I
wish your government every
success in your new term.
