St. George’s, June 9th, 2010: The division of culture in the Prime Minister’s Office, announces the introduction of the Grenada Folk Festival 2010.

The objective of this festival is to create a platform for the exposition of Grenada’s Folk Culture and industries. This year’s focus would be on folk music and will be staged in early December.

The Division would like to invite all existing groups and individual artistes interested in participating in this event to register with the Division of Culture.

Registration will commence from June 7th – July 7th, 2010. Early registration will facilitate the provision of assistance for groups in preparation for this event.
