2009: :Grenada’s Prime
Minister Hon. Tillman Thomas, on the advice of his doctor, has
postponed an official visit to the Peoples Republic of China.
The
Prime Minister, who was scheduled to lead a Grenada delegation to
Beijing on Friday May 8th , was forced to postpone the
visit due to health concerns.
“My
decision to forego the visit, at this time, is based on the
instructions of my doctor, who has strongly recommended a period of
rest in light of an illness,” the Prime Minister said.
He
said the situation has been communicated to the Chinese Embassy in
Grenada and the Grenada Embassy in Beijing.
